Michael joined Taurus in April 2000 with Wayne and Alan after 16 years with another accountancy practice. He is a member of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants (NZICA) and is also member of the Institute of Financial Advisers (IFA).
He has a wide range of experience in a number of sectors including hospitality, manufacturing, service, retail and franchising.
He has also developed expertise in budgeting and cashflow modelling, financing proposals, trusts and succession planning and personal risk management.
Michael also has internal roles within Taurus Group managing the IT functions of the group, in particular the Advance suite of accounting software for chartered accountants.
After an active sporting life in his earlier years, his interests now include tennis, snow skiing, following motorsport and watching sport of all codes. Married to Linda, he is a doting Dad to their 6 year old son Mitchell.
