Prior to establishing Taurus in 1995 Geoff had 10 years experience in Chartered Accounting and Corporate Banking. He has held senior positions for Westpac Banking Corporation and corporate and business banking, including experience in corporate advisory work, divestments, tax effective funding and acquisition finance.
Geoff was also Project Manager responsible for Westpac's restructuring program for it's New Zealand business banking operation prior to assuming the position of South Island Senior Manager Business Banking in 1993, with responsibility for Westpac's South Island business banking operation with offices in Christchurch and Dunedin.
Geoff has a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Canterbury and is a member of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants (NZICA). He is also a director of a number of private companies including Trade Aid Importers Limited and Secured Lending Limited. He has been responsible for managing and delivery of a number of complex assignments for clients over a long period of time.
